Aronno makes small-batch organic skincare from indigenous botanicals — neem, amla, hibiscus, ritha. The product was clean. The packaging it arrived in was not.
Designing what shows
We replaced laminated cartons with uncoated FSC-certified board, switched bottles to refillable amber glass, and hand-illustrated each ingredient as a botanical line drawing — visible through a die-cut window in the box.
The harder choice
The harder decision was structural. We removed the secondary box for half the range. Customers dislike opening packaging that feels skimpy, so we replaced ceremony with information: the bottle itself became a small monograph about the ingredient, the farmer, and the process.
